We are regularly asked about the origin of the Dance Lab name & logo.

Labs are typically places where chemists work long & odd hours to produce something new by mixing various chemicals. It is a place where new innovation takes place. We don’t do chemicals but we do everything else that goes on in a lab. We work long & odd hours to choreograph the best dance styles you will ever see. In our lab, we produce new, raw, untamed & fresh dancing talents. It is a place where new talents are discovered & groomed every day. In this lab, future stars are fashioned! The name just seemed to fit.

Dance Lab evolved from a little operation called Little Lions Dance Club, who is still remembered with respect and awe in some quarters – primarily for their capacity to thrill.

Since we started back in 2006, the Little Lions Dance Club & Dance Lab services has grown & grown. Back then twelve students & one client employed us. We now have over 250 students & over 60 clients on our books, we work regularly with over 150 students & 35 clients & this number increases every week.

All our tutors & staff are CRB checked to an enhanced level & covered by our public liability insurance.
